Besiktas attempt to persuade Leicester City and Watford target Aymen Abdennour to move to Turkey

Besiktas have joined Leicester City and Watford in the hunt for Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour.

The Tunisian has been told he can go this summer and he has an asking price of just £7m.

That has alerted clubs from around Europe, including Inter Milan, Leicester and Watford.

Besiktas, according to Plaza Deportiva, are now also in for Abdennour and they are ready to splash the cash in order to get him.

The Turkish side are aware of the centre-back's preference to play in England or Italy, so they are prepared to offer him a huge contract to try and tempt him to the Super Lig.

Besiktas have already brought in fellow defender Pepe from Real Madrid this summer and they are said to be set on the idea of Abdennour partnering him in the heart of the defence.
