What has happened in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since October 2025 general conference?

The latest edition of the World Report — a biannual video compilation of news from the Church — was published in 11 languages on Wednesday, April 1, on ChurchofJesusChrist.org and on YouTube ahead of April 2026 general conference.

The April 2026 World Report features President Dallin H. Oaks becoming the 18th Prophet and President of the Church, the calling of two new Apostles — Elder Gérald Caussé and Elder Clark G. Gilbert — and a tribute to the life of President Jeffrey R. Holland, the late president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

The program also highlights recent growth and milestones for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, such as the surge in converts to the Church, the creation of 55 new missions, the lowering of the age for young women to serve missions, the 100th anniversary of Institutes of Religion, and the combined seminary and institute enrollment reaching 1 million students.

As in previous editions, the video includes ministries and travels of Church leaders and officers in the past six months, temple dedications and the first recent temple to be announced outside of general conference.

Besides English, narrated versions are available in 10 additional languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, Cantonese, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Russian.
