Seven Premier League managers have been nominated for the April 2026 Barclays Manager of the Month award, and you can help decide who wins.
You, the fans, have until 12:00 BST on Monday 4 May to vote below for one of Nuno Espirito Santo, Daniel Farke, Pep Guardiola, Fabian Hurzeler, Andoni Iraola, Vitor Pereira or Arne Slot.
The supporters’ votes will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner, who will be revealed next week.
Barclays Manager of the Month shortlist
Nuno Espirito Santo (West Ham United)

At one stage West Ham were seven points from safety, but Nuno has injected belief into a side that had been drifting towards relegation. The two victories in April – against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton – and a disciplined draw against Crystal Palace edged West Ham two points clear of 18th-placed Tottenham Hotspur. Crucially, Nuno has tightened the team up defensively: the clean sheets against Wolves and Palace were their first successive shutouts in over a year. Thrashing Wolves and finding a late winner against Everton have changed the mentality of the squad at the right moment.
Daniel Farke (Leeds United)

A first win against Manchester United at Old Trafford in 45 years and a commanding victory against Wolves has significantly boosted Leeds’ safety hopes, capping a remarkable turnaround after their early struggles following promotion back to the Premier League. They struck in the seventh minute of stoppage time to snatch a draw against in-form AFC Bournemouth, Farke also masterminded a win against West Ham to reach the FA Cup semi-finals.
Pep Guardiola (Manchester City)

At one point Man City trailed Arsenal by nine points in the title race. In typical Guardiola fashion, they hungrily hunted down the league leaders. Beating Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium was one of the results of the season, and they swept aside Chelsea and Burnley to briefly go top on goals scored.
Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton & Hove Albion)

After a difficult spell at the start of the year, Hurzeler has found rhythm and consistency and his unbeaten April lifted Brighton into sixth place and on the cusp of qualifying for Europe. They beat Burnley, rescued a point with a late goal against Spurs and produced a standout performance in a thrilling 3-0 victory against Chelsea. They have an outside chance of making the top five, but are well placed to finish above the cluster of clubs vying for sixth and seventh.
Andoni Iraola (AFC Bournemouth)

Bournemouth extended their unbeaten run to 14 league games on an astonishing streak that could well end in a first-ever European qualification before Iraola departs in the summer. The win against leaders Arsenal was a real statement of intent, and they added to it by beating Newcastle United and drawing with Leeds playing Iraola’s brand of free-flowing football.
Vitor Pereira (Nottingham Forest)

Under intense relegation pressure, Forest somehow scored nine goals in two games to down Burnley and Sunderland and bolster their goal haul, which could prove decisive if goal difference becomes a factor. They also earned a valuable draw against UEFA Champions League-chasing Aston Villa to take seven points from nine and open a five-point cushion between them and the bottom three.
Arne Slot (Liverpool)

Slot halted a run of three straight defeats with three successive Premier League victories that lifted Liverpool into fourth and within touching distance of Champions League qualification in what has been, by their standards, a difficult season. A Merseyside derby win – sealed with a stoppage-time winner from Virgil van Dijk – was the highlight of the month. Comfortable wins over Fulham and Crystal Palace added breathing room between Liverpool and the chasing pack.
