Félix Auger-Aliassime (4), one of the favourites alongside Alexander Zverev still left in the competition, will take on Flavio Cobolli (10) to open the men’s singles quarterfinals today.
The Canadian eliminated Alejandro Tabilo, 6-3, 7-5, 6-1, in the previous round to advance into the last eight, while Cobolli beat American Zachary Svajda (6-2, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6) to set up this mouthwatering tie.
Following that, there will be an all-Italian clash between the unseeded Matteo Berrettini and his namesake Matteo Arnaldi in the other quarterfinal in the night session.
The winners from these matches will meet in the Roland Garros semifinals.
