Well. A lot happened there!
New Zealand goalkeeper Max Crocombe sprints to the edge of his box after a loose ball and has to pull out of a challenge on Mohammad Mohebbi, who goes to ground.
Crocombe picks up the loose ball and should clear it away as fast as possible but takes his time, dilly-dallying, and seems to forget about his opponent behind him.
Mohebbi slides in from behind to poke the ball away, Crocombe accidentally kicks Mohebbi’s leg — painful one — and the ball breaks to the edge of the box.
Iran try to steer it into the temporarily unguarded net but as Crocombe scampers back between his posts, the ball drops wide.
Very lucky indeed.
