The 152nd running of the Kentucky Oaks takes place tonight at Churchill Downs, with the race held annually the day before the Kentucky Derby.
Often featuring some of the best 3-year-old fillies in the sport, this race is one of the longest-running sporting events in the United States and includes a $1.5 million purse for the victor.
In 2024, the race was won by Thorpedo Anna and her jockey Brian Joseph Hernandez Jr. in a time of 1:49.77. Then in 2025, Good Cheer took the crown along with her jockey, Luis Saez, posting a time of 1:50.15.
