The biggest stadium courts. The most raucous crowds. Yes, that would be the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.

It has been the host of the U.S. Open since 1978, boasting a facility that features 22 courts inside its 46.5 acres.

The crown jewel is Arthur Ashe Stadium, the largest center court in professional tennis.

Ashe’s capacity is 23,771, and it’s undergoing a $600 million renovation that will add 2,000 courtside seats. Louis Armstrong Stadium, the second main court, has a capacity of 14,000.
