Brutal second quarter by the Aces’ standards. They committed eight turnovers and gave up 13 made shots in the second 10 minutes alone, which is bad enough.
But they also let Caitlin Clark get loose, which is problematic in this building. (Not that Las Vegas could do anything about Clark getting a technical foul that jazzed her up.) And still worse, the Aces had a chance with one more really solid, really efficient quarter to squeeze all the hope out of Indiana. That didn’t happen. Now the defending champions have some work to do.
