Victories by the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears put the finishing touches on the 2026 NFL preseason.

The Bears ended the Titans’ bid for a perfect preseason, racing out to an early lead on two Tyson Bagent touchdown passes in the first half and never looking back in a 24-15 victory.

Earlier today, the Lions accumulated 356 yards of offense to defeat the Colts, 25-16. Two bright spots for Indianapolis: kicker Spencer Shrader made a 60-yard field goal and cornerback Sauce Gardner intercepted the Lions’ Luke Altmyer.

The Bears, Titans, Lions, Colts and the NFL’s other 28 teams will spend roughly the next 20 hours making cuts and determining their 53-man rosters.

The next on-field action will be on Sept. 9, when the Seahawks host the Patriots in a Super Bowl rematch to open the regular season.
