The best part about having a World Cup where stars are shining is we were bound to get some familiar duels that we have seen across the Atlantic.
We have one of those today, with the Premier League’s spicy rivalry taking centre stage between Erling Haaland of Manchester City and Norway, facing Brazil and Arsenal centre-back Gabriel.
The two have repeatedly clashed on the pitch during pivotal matches between their respective clubs in the English top flight, and have gone nose-to-nose on multiple occasions before needing to be separated.
Now they face off in a World Cup knockout match where each will be looking to send the other back to England from the world’s biggest tournament.
